Privacy Notice
Last updated: October 2026
Cypress Analytics LLC respects the privacy of users of REMI (Real Estate Market Intelligence). This notice explains what personal information we collect and how we use it.
Information We Collect and Use
When you sign in to REMI, we may receive basic account information from your authentication provider, such as your name and email address. We maintain information needed to manage your account and authorized access, which may include brokerage or organization affiliation and MLS, product, module, or geographic permissions.
We may also collect limited application activity, such as sign-in, access, error, and security events, to operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve REMI.
Information you submit through REMI is processed as necessary to provide the feature or service you request.
Signing In with Google
REMI uses Sign in with Google to confirm who you are. When you sign in, Google provides your name, your email address and whether Google has verified it, and a unique identifier for your Google account. Google may also include other basic profile details, such as a link to your profile photo; REMI does not store them. REMI never receives your Google password and does not ask for access to your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendar, or any other Google data.
REMI uses this information only to sign you in and keep you signed in, to match your account to an invitation from your brokerage or organization using your verified email address, to show which account is signed in, and to keep security records such as when you last signed in.
REMI stores your name, email address, email verification status, and Google account identifier with your REMI account in REMI’s database. While you are signed in, your browser also holds a REMI session cookie that identifies your account; it expires after a set time or when you sign out.
REMI does not sell information received from Google, does not use it for advertising, and does not share it except with the service providers that host and operate REMI, as described below, or where required by law. It is not provided to REMI’s AI-assisted features and is not used to develop, improve, or train AI or machine-learning models.
This information is protected and retained as described under Security and Retention, and you can ask us to delete it as described under Your Choices. REMI’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Location and Addresses
REMI’s Use My Location feature is optional and requires permission from your browser or device. If you use it, REMI receives latitude and longitude coordinates and processes them to determine your applicable market geography and resolve the location to a display address. Coordinates may be transmitted to our geocoding service provider for this purpose.
When you choose an address, by searching or with Use My Location, REMI keeps that address and its coordinates in your browser for the current tab, so it stays active as you move between pages. That tab copy is cleared when you close the tab. Saving the address to your account is separate, and is described below.
REMI also sends the active address and its coordinates to its own servers to look up planning context and public property records for that address, such as current zoning, future land use, permits, Code Enforcement cases and historic-district status. The address and coordinates are not returned in the results.
Address text entered into REMI’s address-search feature is processed by our geocoding service provider to provide suggestions and resolve the selected location.
A resolved or entered address is not saved to your REMI account unless you explicitly choose to save it. When you save an address you resolved by searching or with Use My Location, REMI stores its address label, its coordinates and the associated market context with your account.
Service Providers and AI-Assisted Features
Cypress Analytics uses service providers that support functions such as authentication, cloud hosting, databases, geocoding, and AI-assisted functionality. These providers may process information as necessary to provide services to Cypress Analytics.
REMI is designed so that raw MLS database tables and precise browser-location coordinates are not provided directly as AI prompt context. AI-assisted functionality operates through controlled application services and authorized data sources.
Sale and Advertising
Cypress Analytics does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for third-party targeted advertising.
Security and Retention
Cypress Analytics uses administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information maintained through REMI, including authenticated access, authorization controls, HTTPS communications, restricted database access, and managed credentials and secrets.
We retain personal information only as reasonably necessary to operate REMI, maintain appropriate business and security records, and satisfy legal, contractual, or MLS-related requirements. Information removed by a user may remain temporarily in system records or backups where reasonably necessary for those purposes.
No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your Choices
Location access and saved addresses are optional. You may enter an address manually instead of using device location, and saving an address requires an explicit action.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account, subject to applicable legal, contractual, security, and record-retention requirements. To do so, use the Contact button below.
Changes to This Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice as REMI, our practices, or applicable requirements change. The current version will show the date it was last updated.
